ABBA was selected to serve as Senior Project Manager for Phase I of the $2.5B redevelopment of 70 acres of downtown San Diego waterfront. The scope of work includes:
Ensuring the project honors the vision of the citizens of San Diego for this iconic project.
Leading the initial design and construction team of 6 architectural engineers, 2 general contractors, 8 engineering firms, and numerous other consultants through pre-development and entitlement phases.
Overseeing mixed use market feasibility studies for proposed Marina, Hotel, Retail , Entertainment, and Education facilities.
Initiating and overseeing initial seismic and environmental impact studies to meet strict California Coastal Commission and Municipal, State and Federal Building Code requirements.
