PROJECT VALUE: $4.9 BILLION
ABBA provided Construction Management and Staff Augmentation services for the $10M construction and modernization project at Correia Middle School. Completed scope included modernization upgrades to the existing 1950s era 363,000-square-foot sports field including new multi-use turf fields, a new softball field, field lighting, and reconstruction of basketball/tennis courts. Project achievements included:
Project exceeded builder contract schedules.
Project met the requirements of the California Division of the State Architect (DSA).
Project had zero safety incidents.
Project minimized impact on day-to-day academic activities on the 6-acre campus.
Results: On track to a 2020 completion. Project has had a perfect safety record, less than 2% change orders, and zero performance audit findings.
Whole Site Modernization Phase II: ABBA has been selected to be the project manager for Phase II, starting in January 2024.
